Jocelyn Roux is a junior associate-trainee lawyer at lecocqassociate’s Geneva office. Jocelyn joined the team in January 2018 and assists the Geneva team in litigious matters (both commercial and criminal), corporate structuring and incorporation, contractual drafting and also assists clients in obtaining residency permits in Switzerland.
Jocelyn graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Geneva in 2008. After graduating, he put his university studies on hold to start a professional football career in the first and second Swiss divisions, notably with Servette FC and Lausanne-Sport FC. He obtained a Masters in Economic Law in February 2013 while still playing football. In 2014, Jocelyn received the Walthard Award from the University of Geneva for having excelled in his athletic and academic career.
Prior to joining lecocqassociate, Jocelyn gained experience by working at H&B Law, a law firm in Morges in 2015 and a Swiss bank, Bordier & Cie, in 2017.
