Valeska Divis is an associate with lecocqassociate in Geneva. She was admitted to practice as a lawyer in Geneva, Switzerland in 2014. Valeska graduated with a Bachelor of Law from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland in 2009. She obtained a Master in “Economics and Contract Law”and “European and International Law” from the same university in 2012, including two semesters at the University of Zurich, Switzerland in 2011, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Legal Professions from the University of Geneva, Switzerland in 2012. Valeska also completed a certification in International and Comparative Business Law at the Bucerius Law School, Hamburg, Germany in 2012.
Prior to joining lecocqassociate in Dubai in 2015, Valeska interned at SVSZ Avocats in Geneva from 2013 to 2014, where she gained exposure to the areas of inheritance law, arbitration, tax law and criminal business law. She also acquired property law experience by working at Richard Pearlman LPP, law firm in London, United-Kingdom in 2015.
With lecocqassociate, Valeska assists clients with respect to corporate banking matters, taxation, drafting commercial contracts as well as commercial, corporate and private equity structuring and incorporation and also assists clients in obtaining residency permits in Switzerland and United Arab Emirates.
