What does your role entail at lecocqassociate?

I am responsible for making our clients documents pleasant for the eyes. I am also part of the marketing team where I create images and videos for our website and social media.

Tell us about your academic and professional background.

I obtained my Degree in Architecture from the Future University, Sudan in 2017. Prior to that, I went to the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York where I practiced Fine Arts as part of the Arts Student League of New York.

What do you consider to be your biggest professional achievement?

I was part of a government initiated project whereby I was responsible for the design and development planning for a new settlement for the refugees of Darfur. From this initiative, more than 800 new homes were made.

What is the most impactful thing you have done?

My mother and I started a charitable initiative, where we raised funds to help educate and train single mothers on starting their own business to support their families. It was a very emotional experience for me when I found out that all these women put these teachings into practice and really started their own business.

How many languages do you speak?

I speak Arabic, English and a little German.

What drives you?

Overcoming challenges, and learning something new every day. Besides that, being surrounded by my family and loved ones drives me to push harder to become better.

Business aside, what do you enjoy doing when you are not in the office?

I can draw for hours.

What is your secret talent?

I'm a great belly dancer.
