What are your areas of specialty?
Structuring investment funds – Private Equity.
What kind of matters do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy negotiating with GP/LP during the structuring period/fund raising of the fund. Trying to find a solution that will please both parties therefore reaching a mutual agreement. Overall, I like to find solutions while being pragmatic and commercially oriented.
What is the most impactful work you have done throughout your career?
I believe that everything we do is impactful. Indeed, from drafting a proxy, to create an investment fund or resolve a complicated situation for the client, everything as an impact and help a party to move forward.
Tell us about your academic and professional background.
I have a licence in private law and a master in business law from the Sorbonne in Paris as well as inLuxembourg and the Luxembourgish bar.
Regarding my professional background, I have started my career by working for a big 4 company, after that I moved to a top tier law firm in Luxembourg and finally in house, in a private bank, before joining Lecocqassociate.
How many languages do you speak?
I speak French and English.
What made you want to be a solicitor / lawyer?
I enjoyed the problem solving skill involved in legal work, I like to learn and in this profession you can learn new things everyday, it is really challenging and I like it.
